PURPOSE:To decrease the number of parts, to reduce cost and to increase the degree of freedom of display by arranging many segment electrodes for bar display in one row along a speed display scale and interlocking a speed display and speed warning display. CONSTITUTION:The mange segment electrodes 20 for bar display are arranged in one row along the speed display scale 16 and voltage is successively impressed to these segment electrodes 20 by which the number of the bars displayed on a display plane 15 is increased continuously from the smaller to the larger side of the speed display scale 16. The speed is thus analogically bar-displayed. The segment electrode 20' corresponding to the speed region to be warning in the speed display scale 16 is formed in a specified or larger display area and a color filter 27 is deposited to at least part thereof. A speed warning part 28 which emits the warning color different from the color of the bar display cooperatively with the bar display is thus provided.
