PURPOSE:To lengthen the life of print wheel structure by eliminating wasteful portions by arranging the types of all MICR letters on each of three-divided fields. CONSTITUTION:A print wheel PW with sporks S tipped with types 1-42 is divided into three fields F1, F2, and F3. Types 1-14, 15-28, and 29-42 constituting the three fields F1, F2, and F3 consist of ones for 14 kinds of letters under F-13B standard as one of standards for MICR letters. With the arrangement of letters in the fields F1, F2, and F3, printing control by CPU can be simplified with the same order. For the print of one voucher, any of the fields F1, F2, and F3 is used and switched for every voucher. The types of the fields F1, F2, and F3 can thus be used with equalized frequency, and the life can be greatly prolonged, greatly raising the economical advantage of the structure.
