Lock for the locking of doors, windows or the like, with a bolt which, in its locking position, projects from the lock fore-end and engages into a lock plate and which can be transferred into the open position by means of a movement screw, consisting of a nut with an electromotively driven threaded spindle engaging therein, and the transfer of the bolt into the open position by the nut moved by means of the threaded spindle takes place counter to the effect of a force accumulator, and the bolt can be fixed in the open position by a spring-loaded snap bolt, and after the transfer of the bolt into the open position the nut moved by the threaded spindle returns to its basic position.
