摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the variation of tension by compensating the error of an acceleration/deceleration compensating quantity set by calculation on a basis of an actual measured value in the initial stage of acceleration/deceleration. CONSTITUTION:A winder tension controller consists of a rolling mill 1, a winder 3 of a rolling mill 2, a DC motor 4, a thyristor device 5 which energizes the motor 4, a current controller 6, a setting device 7 of a reference tension T1, an acceleration/deceleration compensating quantity arithmetic unit 8, a line speed differentiating device 9, etc. In this case, a tension compensation correcting device 12, and an adder 13 and a tension gauge 14 are added to this device 12. The tension compensation correcting device 12 measures an actual tension TF through the tension gauge 14 at the line acceleration/deceleration start time and compares it with the reference tension value T1 to calculate and store a tension compensating value F2. Thus, an acceleration compensating quantity F1 set preliminarily by calculating is corrected to a correct compensating quantity F3, thus compensating acceleration/deceleration.
