PURPOSE:To maintain a degree of stable sensor performance all the time as well as to dispense with the periodic cleaning of a sensor, by making a dustproof wall of the sensor cleanable with a dust removing member synchronously with the setting motion of a cashier device. CONSTITUTION:A fullness of bills 5 is detected and a cashier box 1 is drawn out in an escape direction along the rail 11 attached to a support 3. And, coping with a sensor 6, there are provided with a light transmittable dustproof wall 4 and a dust removing member 2, synchronizing with a drawer of the cashier box 1, this dustproof wall 4 is cleaned with action of the member 2. In addition, also at the time of insertion of the cashier box 1 in the setting direction, the cashier box 1 is inserted thereinto along the rail 11 so that the dustproof wall 4 is cleaned as well by action of the member 2.
