PURPOSE:To raise the bonding strength by solder between a piezo-electric ceramic tube and electrodes by providing a piezo-electric ceramic tube having electrodes formed by a laminating a metal layer of Pt, Ni, Ag, solder, or Pb on a copper layer on its inner and outer surfaces. CONSTITUTION:Electrode layers 4 of Cu are formed on the inner and outer surfaces of a piezo-electric ceramic tube 3, and electrode layers 5 of Pt, Ni, Ag, solder, or Pb are formed on the layers 4 to make up a pair of anode and cathode electrodes 6 and 7. When applying voltage through the electrodes 6 and 7 to the tube 3, the tube 3 contracts axially and its inside diameter also contracts to compress the tube 1. Liquid is jetted through a jet nozzle 2 in the tip of the tube 1 by the pressure. When the voltage is changed and the displacement of the tube 3 is restored, the conduit 1 is also restored to its original state and becomes of a negative pressure. The liquid can thus be supplied from a liquid trap into the tube 1 by suction. |
