PURPOSE:To simplify and miniaturize a blow molding device by a method wherein a pair of split molds, having one side of opening type mold cavity consisting of one side of inlet port and outlet port which are communicating from both ends of one side of the mold cavity to the side surfaces of the split molds respectively on the closing surface of the split mold, are employed for molding. CONSTITUTION:A pair of split molds 5, 5 are closed to form bent mold nest 6, the upper inlet port 8 of parison, the lower outlet port 9 of the same and a narrowed tube 12. A suction cup 19 is abutted against the outer end of the narrowed tube and the parison P, extruded out of an extruding die 10, is sucked whereby the tip end of the parison P is abutted against the hopper type narrowed surface 13 of a narrowed cavity and is choked into conical shape in corresponding to the narrowed surface, therefore, the tip end section of the parison P may be sealed perfectly. Thereafter, air is blown into the parison through the blow nozzle 11 of the extruding die to effect blow molding. |
