READER FOR RADIATION PICTURE INFORMATION

摘要

PURPOSE:To attain reading with high accuracy with less effect of scattered line even when information is arranged near an image pickup device by covering the surface of a light condensing body with a radiation shield. CONSTITUTION:The surrounding of the shield 14 guiding incident accelerated phosphorescent light to the irradiated end face is covered by the radiation shield 16. The shield 16 is made of lead foil 16 on both sides of which is covered by sponge 17. The lead foil 16a shields scattered rays 21b incoming to the light condensing body 14 to prevent the transmission through the body 16 or the scattering on the sheet 13. Since the unspecified part on the sheet 13 due to the scattered rays is not excited in the read section 15, the read with high accuracy by excitation of excited light 11a only is realized.
