<p>A heat exchange container (1) filled preferably with water of an individual or central heating installation is combined with a furnace device provided with a combustion chamber (5) and used for the pulsed combustion of flowing fuels, particularly liquids. Said furnace device is mounted on a support plate closing an opening of the container (1). The air supply is provided discontinuously through valves (30) and the fuel is continuously injected under pressure into a precombustion chamber (10) by means of an inlet nozzle (29) which is axially displaceable so that the injection pressure and the position of the injection nozzle (29) are essential variables. A turbulence element is arranged within the precombustion chamber (10) closed to the bottom of the chamber. Its opening is adjustable and it is intended to swirl the air-fuel mixture thereby providing another regulation variable. Preferably, the combustion chamber (5) is provided with double walls, the cylindrical double walls enclosing a narrow space enabling the heat transfer and the double bottom walls being separated by a large insulating space.</p> |
