The monitoring device (Ü) for detecting the antenna noise during the absence of objects to be measured is looped via a low-impedance pick-up (OK3) into the useful-signal circuit (OK1, L3, OK2, L4) leading to an evaluating device (A) for the Doppler signals. Apart from the monitoring of the presence of the power supply for the radar set and monitoring of the radar set itself, this also provides for the monitoring of the useful-signal circuit leading to the evaluating device. <IMAGE>
