PURPOSE:To attain speed recording while uneven feeding is reduced by storing a line data transferred discontinuously into a plural line memories tentatively and recording the data continuously in the lump. CONSTITUTION:A line data transferred discontinuously is supplied as an input data to a terminal 6 normally. A line memory 1 receives the input data and stores tentatively by (l) lines below one sheet of recording paper to receive control from a memory control circuit 2. When data of m-line (2<m<=l) being a prescribed threshold value is finished for input, the memory control circuit 2 controls n-line (n>=m) of data including the data finished for input to as to be outputted in a burst way at an equal time interval T even when the data is being outputted. When a recording control circuit 3 recognizes the start of transfer of n-line group of data, the circuit 3 controls a stepping motor 5 to start feeding consecutively for n-line and sends the data of n-line at an equal time interval T after a time tau to a recording head 4, where the data is subject to main scanning recording continuously.
