PURPOSE:To change color or resin easily by a method wherein a place on the extension line of a nozzle is blockaded and a purge chute is provided to receive purged matter extruded out of a nozzle while the purged matter is blown off to the outside of a body upon purging operation. CONSTITUTION:The nozzle 12 is advanced and touches a nozzle touch plate 13, then, a screw is rotated to increase a back pressure and metering is effected, thereafter, the nozzle 12 retreats and injection is effected, whereby the purged matter is discharged from the nozzle touch plate 13 to the outside of body through the purging chute 15. When the purging is finished, a solenoid valve 24 is put OFF, air blowing from air nozzles 22, 23 is stopped and the purging plate 13 also retreats from the place A on the extension line of the nozzle, therefore, normal injection molding operation may be effected. |
