The present invention relates to a phospho-Notch1-IC antibody which recognizes phosphorylation on threonine 2512 (T2512) existing in a Notch1 intracellular (NOTCH1-IC) domain of NOTCH1. The present invention further relates to a method for diagnosing cancer using the antibody. The present invention also relates to a composition for preventing or treating breast cancer, containing homeodomain-interacting protein kinase 2 (HIPK2) as an active ingredient, and to a method for preventing or treating breast cancer using the same.
