According to the present invention, the method to rearrange a cache, partitioned into multiple partitions, includes: a step of receiving a request from a requester to allocate a first cache entry to a selected partition among the multiple partitions; a step of determining the least recently used (LRU) cache entry among cache entries in the selected partition; a step of allocating the first cache entry to the selected partition; and a step of setting the next LRU cache entry in the selected partition. Therefore, the present invention is capable of supporting a flexible partitioning scheme without an increase in complexity and area. |
