PURPOSE:To obtain a molding having proper air and water permeabilities, by mixing a polyolefin with an org. liquid compatible therewith, molding it and treating the molding with a good solvent for the org. liquid to extract and remove the org. liquid and to form fine open cells. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. polyolefin (A) (e.g. isotactic polypropylene) having a melt index of 0.1-50 is uniformly mixed with 20-150pts.wt. org. liquid (B) (e.g. liquid paraffin) which is compatible with component A at a temp. of not lower than the melting temp. of component A, and nonvolatile. The mixture is molded by injection molding or blow molding, and the molding is treated with a solvent (e.g. methylene chloride) which is a good solvent for component B and difficultly dissolves component A, at room temp. to extract and remove component B and to form fine open cells, thus obtaining a resin molding having a crystallinity index of 40% or above and suitable for use as a bacteria- removing filter.
