The invention relates to a device for passing a cable, hose and the like to machines, consisting of a flange angle having two flange sides which are at an angle (90 DEG ) with respect to one another and are each provided with a perforation, and in the case of which the one flange side is constructed around the associated perforation as a mounting flange having mounting holes, and in which further wall parts of the flange angle form a closed channel between the two flange sides. According to the invention, the device is simpler to handle and to install in that the flange angle is composed of a housing lower part and a housing upper part, in that the housing lower part surrounds the frame-like mounting flange with the associated perforation as well as a part of the other flange side with a part of the other perforation, while the housing upper part has the remaining other flange side with the remaining other perforation, and in that the channel between the two flange sides is formed by means of mutually complementary wall parts of the housing lower part and housing upper part.
