The invention relates to a process and a sliding shuttering system for producing structural walls from concrete or the like, having step-like transitions from relatively large wall thicknesses to relatively small wall thicknesses. Up until now, it has been necessary, in order to construct such transitions which are used as bearing brackets, to carry out a subsequent, second operation to be provided separately from the sliding process. In terms of equipment, the invention solves this in that at least one of the yokes levels out the required inclination compensation in length by means of a telescopic length-adjusting device. In terms of the process, a blind shuttering is used when the level of the step-like transition has been reached and, after removal of the blind shuttering, the sliding process is continued by reducing the distance between the two yokes.
