<p>The device comprises two metal plates (1a, 1b) of which the highest point is situated at 10 cm above the road surface (1), which plates are depressed by the passage of motor vehicles. A rack (2) pivoted (1d) on one of the plates and installed in a machine room rotatingly drives a wheel (13) and a generator (3). A no-load running wheel (9) fixed to both rotating parts enables to drive the wheel (13) always in the same direction. A rocking bar (4) provided with a counterweight (4a) provides for the balancing of the whole assembly.</p> |
