PURPOSE:To remove a defect due to a penetrating current when FETs to be alternately turned ON and OFF are connected in series by splitting the primary winding of a transformer, and individually coupling semiconductor switching elements with the split windings. CONSTITUTION:The primary winding of a transformer 5 is split to the first and second primary windings, and MOS field effect transistors 1, 2 are connected as semiconductor switching elements with the first and second windings, respectively. Since the vibration of one MOS field effect transistor due to abrupt turning ON is transmitted through the mutual inductance to the other transistor different from the case of the direct coupling, a dangerous vibrating voltage is hardly generated at the gate voltage of the FET.
