Known blow-mould quick-action clamping units have two movable clamping plates to which the mould halves can be coupled via retaining bolts which can be introduced into T-slots, and also, for separating the mould halves, hydraulic clamping cylinders which are adjustable from a closed position into an open position and coupling elements which automatically connect the water cooling of the mould halves to a cooling circuit when the clamping plates approach said mould halves. According to the invention, the end sections (31) of the clamping cylinder piston rods (26) bear laterally open T-slots (31a), the clamping cylinders (18) being movable transversely such that the retaining bolts (8) on the adjacent mould half (4 and 5 respectively) - engaging through the passage bores (9) of the clamping plate (1 and 2 respectively) - rest in the T-slots. At least one clamping plate (2) has centring elements (13, 14), via which the mould half (5) supported thereon is pivotable. The clamping plates (1, 2) in addition bear movable cooling-water connectors (32) which, supported resiliently on the adjacent mould half (4 and 5 respectively), form, together with the cooling-water bores (11, 12) of the latter, continuous bores (38, 11, 12). <IMAGE> |
