PURPOSE:To save a head cover and to improve an operation efficiency by preventing the first magnetic converter and a recording medium from contacting during inserting and discharging the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:During loading a head, an arm 11 is raised by a pail 16 of a solenoid magnet and the second magnetic converter 6 is separated from a medium 9. During inserting and discharging the recording medium 9, the arm 11 is further raised by a bridge mechanism, the bridge 20 is opened and a strut 21 is raised, a rotating lever 18 is rotated by a resetting torsion spring 22, the first arm 24 is lowered, the first magnetic converter 2 is separated from the recording medium 9 and the recording medium 9 can be inserted and discharged without contacting the respective magnetic converters 2, 6.
