PURPOSE:To dispense with the machining of a throttle bore as well as to aim at reduction in the cost of production, by installing a hole connectedly at the engine side of a suction passage piercing through a carburetor body, while insetting a throttle bore member consisting of a metallic material, in this hole. CONSTITUTION:A throttle bore member 1 is formed by means of machining methods such as metalcutting, casting, press work, bulging and so on with metallic materials including aluminum, sheet iron, etc. On the other hand, a suction passage 5 is pierced through a carburetor body 4, and a Venturi part 6 is formed in the intermediate part. And, a hole 7 for insetting the throttle bore member 1 is installed in this suction passage 5 at the farther engine side than the Venturi part 6 connectedly with the suction passage 5. Afterward, the throttle bore member 1 is inset in the hole 7 of the carburetor body 4. With this constitution, the machining of a throttle bore 2 to the carburetor body 4 is no longer required, thus manufacturing cost is reducible.
