In a dual-slope integration system a lower integration rate is produced for a higher value of variable parameter to be measured. Reference-set rate (Gr) is applied (via 10) for a prescribed first time interval (T1) and variable parameter-set rate (Gx) is applied (via 10) in a second time interval (T2). Elapsed time to reach zero in the second time interval is measured. Specific application to water impurity measurement is disclosed with preferred provision for alternative ranges of impurity. <IMAGE> |
