PURPOSE:To smoothly connect two curved surfaces by setting the plane data in all points on a common side and deforming the curved surfaces so as to contact the two curved surfaces with the plane. CONSTITUTION:Two curved surfaces are made S1, S2, a common side B0, the restriction data <=B0 PL, and a normal line vector M. The restriction data is set by a restriction data setting device 8 on a common side of the two curved surfaces having a segment number stored in an input buffer memory 5 and stored in a restriction data buffer memory 9. There are four setting methods of the restriction data (a: M=fixed, b: M is considered to be a normal line vector of S1, c: M is considered to be a normal line vector of S2, d: M is consid ered to be an average vector of the S1, S2 normal line vectors). Which method is to be selected is designated by inputting a numeral from a keyboard 1. |
