The invention is related to polygraphy, in particular, it is used for decoration of binding cases, book jackets, labels and packages, and in production of job printing products where operations of blind relief stamping are used. The objects of the present invention are expansion of the printing toolbox, provision of a simple and efficient method of production of printing material and an innovational printing material with altered reflective power (dispersion of the index of reflection - imparting a "diamond" shine). The method of production of the printing material in the form of fabric of flexible sheet material comprises relief stamping of the main side of the web of flexible sheet material, the named main side being metallised. Relief stamping of the flexible sheet material is performed using a die and a counter die at a temperature of 1-150°C and a force of 0.01 to 50 t till microcracks are formed at point elements of the raised impression. Disclosed also is printing material comprising a fabric of flexible sheet material with embossing applied to at least part of its metallised main side by the hot stamping method, the metallised layer on point elements of the raised impression having microcracks. |
