摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a number of speed change stages without increasing the total length of the apparatus by installing a sub-speed change part which permits the switching between the high and low speed by a plurality of clutches and gear trains onto the output side of a main speed change part. CONSTITUTION:A transmission 1 is equipped with a main speed change part 2 and a sub-speed change part 3. The main speed change part 2 is equipped with an input shaft 4 as main input shaft, the first main shaft 5 coaxially arranged with the input shaft 4, the second tubular main shaft 6 arranged outside the first main shaft 5, and a countershaft 7 which is arranged in parallel to the first and the second main shafts 5 and 6 and acts as output shaft. Further, the sub-speed change part 3 is equipped with an input shaft 21 connected to the countershaft 7, and an output shaft 22 which is arranged in parallel to the input shaft 21 and coaxially arranged with the first and the second main shafts 5 and 6 and acts as main output shaft. Further, the sub-speed change part 3 is equipped with a clutch 27 for high speed stage, one-way clutch 28 for low speed stage and a clutch 29 for engine brake.
