PURPOSE:To obtain a float chamber body having high dimensional accuracy while having no distorsion by molding synthetic resin material around the core member of float chamber body made of metal while making uniform the thickness of synthetic resin at each section of float chamber body. CONSTITUTION:Core member 1 of similar shape with float chamber body having joint face with the carburetor body extending to the side is formed from metal material such as aluminum or iron plate through forging, pressing or restricting. The core metal 1 is inserted into metal die of injection molding machine then synthetic resin material 2 is injected around the core metal 1 to produce a float chamber body 3 where synthetic resin 2 is molded around the core metal 1. Consequently, the core member 1 and the float chamber body 3 will have approximately same shape for any shape of float chamber body 3 resulting in uniform thickness of synthetic resin material 2 at each portion of the float chamber body 3.
