<p>A collapsible ashtray (20) includes a pair of panels (22a, 22b) joined by a pleated sheet (32, 34) which defines an ash receptacle when the panels (22a, 22b) are pulled apart. The pleated sheet (32, 34) includes at least one step formed therein for holding lighted cigarettes. In one embodiment, the panels (22a, 22b) are joined to form a hinge (22c), and the ashtray (20) may be folded and unfolded along this hinge (22c). In another embodiment, the panels are not joined so that the panels (102, 104) may be pulled apart in a parallel fashion.</p> |
