摘要 PURPOSE:To secure a comfortable drive feeling, by comparing the measured value of a velocity ratio in a torque converter with a reference range value at every specified period, controlling the transmission capacity of a direct coupling clutch, while reducing a variation in the transmission capacity in proportion as the velocity ratio comes nearer to the reference range value. CONSTITUTION:A velocity ratio (e) in a torque converter is measured at every specified time and compared with each of discriminating values e1-e4 conformed to a driving mode. When a fact that the velocity ratio (e) exists in what zone in regard to the transmission capacity of a direct coupling clutch is discriminated, the transmission capacity of the direct coupling clutch is increased as much as the increment set at the zone. At this time, the increment per specified time is reduced by degrees in proportion as it comes nearer to a reference range value so that the transmission capacity of the high gear clutch comes to be approximated to the reference range value stably and speedily consequence, thus a comfortable drive feeling is securable.
