PURPOSE:To control a rise in the surface temperature of a heat roller when the heat roller is powered on by controlling the surface temperature of the heat roller according to a reference temperature. CONSTITUTION:When the surface temperature of the heat roller 1 when the heat roller 1 is powered on is lower than the reference temperature, electric feeding to a heater 2 is controlled by the 1st control means which performs the control according to a rise in the surface temperature. Further, when the surface temperature is higher than the reference temperature, the electric feeding to the heater 2 is controlled by the 2nd control means which performs the control through a timer 3. Consequently, even when the initial temperature is high, timer control is performed to raise the surface temperature to a fixation temperature without any overshooting, and the heater feeding time controlled by the timer is shortened even under this timer control, thereby suppressing the influence of variation in source voltage. |
