PURPOSE:To form a belt-shaped film having a distinct parting line on forming the belt-shaped film on a transparent plate by using colored paint prepd. by mixing a specified amt. of hydrophobic anhydrous silica. CONSTITUTION:In the stage of formation of a belt-shaped coated film having a distinct parting line on a window glass comprising a transparent glass or organic resin plate, of an automobile, a colored paint contg. 0.5-10wt% hydrophobic anhydrous silica is used. The colored paint consists of (a) a silane coupling agent, (b) a reaction product of polyisocyanate with silane having active functional group for isocyanate group, (c) a film-forming material, (d) carbon black, (e) hydrophobic anhydrous silica, and (f) an org. solvent. By coating the colored paint with a usual coating method, belt-shaped coated film having a distinct parting line is obtd. The coating may be executed mannually, but automation by means of a robot is particularly preferred.
