PURPOSE:To improve durability by preventing the warp deformation of a V-belt by forming at least one among the projections on the inner and outer peripheral surfaces into arch form having the belt center line position as top point. CONSTITUTION:A transmission V-belt 10 is formed by burying in parallel a plurality of tensile core bodies 11 in the peripheral direction of an endless belt 11 consisting of a rubber basic material and continuously forming the projections 13 at a proper intervals nearly at right angles to the peripheral direction of the endless belt 11 onto the inner peripheral surface 11a and continuously forming the projections 14 in the pitch double of the projections 13 on the inner peripheral surface 11a nearly at right angles to the peripheral direction of the endless belt 11, and forming said projections 14 into arch form having the belt center line position as top point 14a. In said V-belt 10, the both side inclined surfaces 15a and 15b are friction-engaged with the V-groove opposed surfaces 16a and 16b of a V-pulley 16, and canvas 17 is applied onto the inner peripheral surface 11a and the outer peripheral surface 11b.
