PURPOSE:To obtain a retaining jig having long working life permitting continuous movement for sealing panel pins for a long period by forming a part contacting with a sealing parts from a sintered body of silicon nitride, aluminium nitride, sialon, or silicon carbide. CONSTITUTION:A part of a retaining jig contacting with sealing parts is formed of a sintered body comprising either silicon nitride, aluminium nitride, sialon, or silicon carbide. Afore-mentioned sintered bodies based on silicon nitride are all superior as the material for the retaining jig to that made of aluminous material, but among said silicon nitride base materials, a sintered body obtd. under normal pressure consisting of 0.05-5wt% Al2O3, 0.05-6wt% AlN, 0.1-7wt% Y2O3, and residual wt% Si3N4 is most preferred because of its particularly small amt. of deposition of vaporized material from panel to the part contacting with the top of a panel pin. Pref. Vickers' hardness and density of the sintered body is 1,300-1,800 and 95-99%, respectively. |
