PURPOSE:To enable effective use of a space in a fixed drum and reduction of the size of an apparatus by housing various kinds of electric equipments in the drum in the middle zone of a photosensitive belt. CONSTITUTION:An electric equipment housing box 40 houses the power supply circuit board of a copying machine, and the high voltage power source of an electrostatic charger. Rail-shaped metallic members 41 can fix a drum 23 and the box 40. Heat generated from the electric equipment is exhausted out of the drum 23 with a cooling fan 42 fixed to the end of the drum 23 to cool the inside of the drum 23. The box 40 is arranged in the drum 23 to utilize a space in the drum 23. The fan 42 draws in the fresh air and passes it through the space narrowed with the box 40 filled with the electric equipment, between the drum 23 and the box 40 to cool the inside of the drum 23 effectively even by using the small capacity fan 42. |
