The heat-energy absorber is for a unit, in one operating phase of which a liq. is absorbed in a body, and in another desorbed from it, partic. a solar refrigerator. It comprises a housing whose top surface is exposed to the heat source, while a pipe is connected to the bottom surface and leads to the unit, the absorption body being mounted between the surfaces. - A space (11) is left between the body (10) and the bottom surface (9). There can be a flat perforated holder under the body, holding it against the top surface.
