PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce burden of an operator in a coating work of a slip agent on the surface of a skirt guard in a slip agent coating device for an escalator.SOLUTION: A slip agent coating device 40a includes: a holding member 41 fixed to a lower side of a footstep 30 on one side in a lateral direction of at least a footstep 30 of a plurality of footsteps 30; a movable member 46 movably supported by the holding member 41; a coil spring 50 to be an energization member to energize the movable member 46 toward a skirt guard 17 side on one side; and a coating body 48 which is provided on the skirt guard 17 side on the one side of the movable member 46, is impregnated with a slip agent and is pressed on the surface of the skirt guard 17 on the one side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
