PURPOSE:To obtain a performance analyzer which can measure all passing moments of a program with an ommision when the passing time is measured continuously between two points of the program. CONSTITUTION:The address information on running target microprocessor muP is stored in a data register 1 synchronously with the action timing of the target muP. Then the stored address AD is sent to address comparators 2 and 3 respectively. A flip-flop 4 is set by the output of the comparator 2 when the address AD is advanced by a program executed by the target muP and AD=A is satisfied (A: value set previously at the comparator 2). Then the output Q is inverted to an H level. Then the output Q is inverted to an L level when the address AD advances further and AD=B is satisfied (B: value set previously at the comparator 3). Thus the counting action of a counter 9 is stopped and an interruption is applied to a CPU by the output Q given from the flip-flop 4.
