PURPOSE:To operate reasonably by a method wherein a plurality of heat accumulating operation modes is determined in accordance with the condition of heat accumulating operation and an objective heat accumulating amount is determined for each heat accumulating operation mode while the objective heat accumulating amount is corrected in accordance with load estimating value so that the heat accumulating amount in respective heat accumulating operations becomes the corrected objective heat accumulating amount. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of heat accumulating operation modes M1-M4, M0 are determined so as to be optimum in accordance with the conditions of heat accumulating operations, which are assorted in accordance with time bands or the like. Further, the objective heat accumulating amounts Ee1-Ee4, Ee0 are determined in accordance with the operation modes. In case these operation modes are set by combining properly, economical and reasonable heat accumulation may be effected and just enough heat accumulating amount may be obtained by correcting the objective heat accumulating amount in accordance with the load estimating value upon starting respective operation modes. As a result, an error in the heat accumulating amount may be decreased.
