PURPOSE:To reduce the fall of the temp. of molten steel and to save the energy as well by sucking from the nozzle provided on the bottom part of a container the burnup exhaust gas inside a molten steel container and by returning into the container from the exhaust gas jet port provided in plural pieces on the upper cover. CONSTITUTION:The inner part of a tandish 1 is primarily heated by the combustion gas passed from a burner 3. In this case the forming exhaust gas is absorbed at 50-150mm H2O pressure by an exhaust gas circulating fan 8 and blown out from the exhaust gas jet port 4 provided between the burner 3 to perform the secondary heating. It is preferrable to perform so that the pressure at the drying and heating up time inside the tandish becomes about + or -1mm H2O. It had better to perform the oxygen enrichment to the degree of 30-40%. The biased heat inside the tandish is thus eliminated and the heat reserve is increased and the energy saving can be performed as well by the circulating use of the combustion exhaust gases. |
