PURPOSE:To display the using state of an object like an article, etc. without showing it actually by photographing the article by a TV camera to obtain picture signals, digitizing these picture signals to extract only the picture information on a desired subject and writing plural pieces of picture information on each other on a frame memory. CONSTITUTION:Analog picture signals obtained through photographing with a TV camera 1 are supplied to a camera input interface 4 via a video disk 3 and with changeover of a switch 2. These picture signals are converted into digital signals RGB by the interface 4 and written on a buffer frame memory 7 by a DMA control circuit 5. Then the picture areas of furnitures, etc. are extracted out of the pictures including the written background and shifted successively to a frame memory9. The contents of both frames 7 and 9 are read out at the same timing by a control logic 8 and a synchronizing signal generating circuit 11 for production of frame pictures and converted into analog signals by D/A converters 10 and 12. These analog signals are added together by an adder circuit 13 and displayed on a CRT.
