PURPOSE:To obtain a material for a contact lens which has particularly excellent oxygen oxygen permeability and hydrophilicity and can be continuously used for a long period of time by copolymerizing respectively specific organosiloxane monomer, perfluoroalkyl ether, unsatd. acid and the ester thereof. CONSTITUTION:The copolymer of the compd. expressed by formula I (A1-A5 are an alkyl of 1-5C, arom. group, group expressed by formula II, etc., R4 is CH3, H, R5-R8, R6', R8' are an alkyl of 1-5C, arom. group and group expressed by formula III, R9, R9', R9'' are an alkyl of 1-5C, arom. group, R5', R7' are a bond chain R5'-O-R7' or an alkyl of 1-5C, arom. group and group expressed by formula III, b, b', c, c' are 0-10, d is 1-10), the compd. expressed by formula IV (X is F or group expressed by formula V, Q is -(CH2)q'-(CH2)r-O- CO-, q is 0-10, r is 2-5, Y is the group expressed by formula VI, R1, R2 is CH3, H, R3 is F, CF3, j, k are 1-4, p is 0-5, n, m are 0-200) the acid from the group of a (meth) acrylic acid and itaconic acid group and the ester, etc. of these acids is used as the contact lens material. The contact lens having excellent durability, etc. is obtd. by using such material.
