LEVELING DEVICE FOR GRANULAR PARTICLE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To exchange leveling needles in prompt response with die sizes and to improve the efficiency of a leveling operation by suspending the many leveling needles which are vertically supported exchangeably via an elastic plate to a supporting plate onto the surface of the granular particle material in the dies and oscillating the needles thereby leveling off uniformly the material. CONSTITUTION:Many pieces of the leveling needles 12 are vertically supported to the elastic plate 18 attached to the upper plate 16 of a supporting plate 11 by fastening a lower plate 17 thereto in such a manner that expanded head parts thereof contact with the elastic plate. The needles 12 contact with the surface of the granular particle material M introduced into the dies 1 when a leveling head 14 descends. The surface of the material M is uniformly leveled off by the oscillation of the head 14. The plate 17 is removed and many pieces of the needles 12 are easily exchanged to a suitable number of pieces and shape according to the die size. The leveling operation is simple and easy and is improved in the efficiency.
