PURPOSE:To obtain a pattern synthesizer having no requirement to memorize many specific patterns by a method in which plural different patterns in a memory are read out correspondingly to the same printing position. CONSTITUTION:In a communication ticket issuer, to print numerals surrounded by a frame to be the pattern of adjusted date for example, I and reversely directed U shapes is read out from the pattern memory and a synthesized pattern of both shapes is printed. In the same way, the 0 and U shapes are synthesized and printed on the adjacent printing position, and the pattern of numerals 10 surrounded by the frame is printed on a commutation ticket. Specific patterns can thus be synthesized and printed simply by memorizing the foreign letter pattern in addition to standard letter pattern like letters and numerals. The time to register many kinds of foreign latter patterns can thus be saved and the memory capacity of the pattern memory can be reduced. |
