PURPOSE:To provide the titled food containing at least one kind of charred powder of Hirudo (a kind of leech), Tabanus (a kind of gadfly) or Eupolyphaga (a kind of cockroach), and effective to prevent various dermatic diseases, hyperlipemia, arterio-sclerosis, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective food for lowering blood viscosity and effective to prevent the congestion caused by the increse in neutral fat and cholesterol in blood and the increase in blood viscosity, by using at least one kind of charred powder of Hirudo (e.g. Whitmania pigra WHITMAN, Whitmania acranulata, Hirudo nipponia WHITMAN, etc.), Tabanus (e.g. Tabanus yao Macq, Hybomitra montana Meigen, Tabanus trigonus Coquilette, etc.) or Europhaga (e.g. Eupolyphaga sinensis WALKER, Opisthoplatio orientalis BURMEISTER, etc.) as essential component. It is administered at a dose of 50-1,000mg, preferably 500mg of the charred powdeer per head. The leech and cockroach are washed with water, put into an unglazed earthen vessel and charred by heating from outside in closed state. The gadfly is dried inn the sun or in the shade and charred in the same manner as above after removing the head, legs, etc.
