PURPOSE:To obtain the multi-tube type heat exchanger, having no leakage of liquid and prominent in the arranging property of fine tubes, by a method wherein a space, formed by the inner wall of an outer cylinder, a supporting body and the ends of fine tubes projected to the opening of the outer cylinder, is filled with a potting material, forced thereinto and cured, to form a fixing section of the fine tubes. CONSTITUTION:A body, in which the fine tubes are arranged in parallel, is formed to inert it into the outer cylinder 5, whose both ends are being opened, and arrange it at a predetermined position. Then, the space, formed by the inner wall of the outer cylinder 5, the supporting body 2 and the outer end walls of a multitude of fine tubes 1, projecting from the supporting body 2 toward the opening of the outer cylinder 5, is filled with the potting material 6, forced thereinto. Further, the potting material is cured to form the mixing sections 11 for the fine tubes 1, fix the multitude of fine tubes 1 to the inside of the outer cylinder and seal the space. Accordingly, the multi- tube type heat exchanger, having no leakage of liquid in the fixing section of the fine tubes, prominent in the arranging property of the fine tubes because of the provision of proper intervals between fine tubes and suitable for an artificial blood circulating circuit excellent in heat exchanging function, may be obtained.
