In order to provide an interface device with which an imaging direction and a projection direction can be oriented in a desired direction, this interface device equipped with: a main body having a light source that emits laser light, and a modulation means to which the laser light is incident, and which modulates the incident laser light; and a head having a mirror that is arranged on an image formation surface for an image formed by the light modulated by the modulation means, and that reflects light forming an image toward an operation region for an interface operation, and an imaging means that captures an image of a region that includes the operation region. The main body and the head are connected via a rotation mechanism, which is arranged at a position through which the light forming the image passes, and in which is formed an open section through which the light forming the image passes. |
