Provided is a technology which, in a rule set before and after a change, is capable of easily executing a verification that a portion in which a relation between an input and output is to be preserved is being preserved. Provided is a rule management assistance device 100, comprising: an input rule editing unit 101 for accepting an input rule set including one or more input rules formed from a condition part and a conclusion part; a correspondence determination unit 103 which determines a correspondence between the input rule set and a pre-change rule set; and a rule equivalence verification unit 104 which makes a comparison verification between the input rule set and the pre-change rule set. The input rule editing unit 101 further comprises an equivalence preservation rule option designation unit which designates an equivalence preservation rule which is a pre-change input rule which preserves a relation between an input and an output even after a change. The equivalence preservation rule option designation unit is queried, and a result outputted, with respect to an input which satisfies the condition part of the equivalence preservation rule, of a determination as to whether the input rule set returns the same output as the equivalence preservation rule. |
