A method of transmitting and receiving downlink multi-user information and a corresponding device, the method comprising: respectively modulating m to-be-transmitted information to obtain m modulated symbols, m being a positive integer exceeding two; sequentially accumulating and superposing the obtained m modulated symbols, wherein the superposing process comprises excluding a first modulated symbol, and performing image optimization on the other m-1 modulated symbols prior to superposition; and transmitting, by a transmitter, a transmitting signal generated by sequentially accumulating and superposing the symbols. The receiving method comprises: receiving a transmitting signal; when a first modulated symbol is demodulated, directly demodulating a symbol carried in the transmitting signal to obtain an original modulated symbol; when other m-1 modulated symbols are demodulated, demodulating and removing a part of the symbols, then demodulating again to obtain to-be-optimized symbols, and performing a reverse image processing on the to-be-optimized symbols to obtain original modulated symbols. By adopting the above methods, a transmitting end can superpose symbols which, when being represented as constellation points, show a Gray-mapped property, and the transmitting end is only required to perform <b>s</b>uccessive interference cancellation (SIC) once. |
