PURPOSE:To always execute an optimum object code by securing the fine decision for conversion into vector in a compiling mode in response to the environment. CONSTITUTION:A control structure nalyzing part 13 analyzes the definition of each variable and array or the reference order of a program loop. If the character addition type change of the array is linear, a data flow analyzing part 15 decides the access order of array elements according to the difference between the increase value and the initial value of the character addition type. Then the conditions 17 are extracted to increase the processing speed with conversion into vector in such a case where the processing speed is higher with no conversion into vector according to the type of a computer and the conditions of the loop length, etc. even when it is decided that the conversion into vector is made possible from the dependent relation 16 of data in a compiling mode. Thus a scaler object is executed if the execution of a vector object is not successful.
