PURPOSE:To prevent overcurrent to a hot water tank and to reduce the size of a power source with a titled device in which a DC power source is connected between the hot water tank formed with a corrosion preventive film on the inside surface and a corrosion preventive electrode provided thereto by using a constant current power source as the power source. CONSTITUTION:A corrosion preventive electrode 1 is insulated from and provided to a hot water tank 2 provided with a corrosion preventive film such as glass lining on the inside surface. The electrode 1 and the tank 2 are respectively connected to the positive and negative pole sides of an outside DC power source to protect the tank 2. A constant current power source 4 is used here as the outside DC power source. The power source 4 consists of a commercial power source 5, a voltage dropping transformer 6, a full-wave current rectifier 7, a smoothing condenser 8, a light emitting diode 9, resistors 10, 11 and a transistor 12 which are connected as shown in the figure. The positive and negative pole side terminals 13, 15 thereof are respectively connected to the electrode 1 and the tank 2. The circuit shown in the figure has a control circuit 16 for a hot water feed boiler using commonly the constant current power source.
